Love God

The first commandment is to love God. Why would he command love? It is because he knows no other relationship.

Son of Man

Some say that Jesus was God and became a man. But it says that the Word became flesh and lived among us. That is quite different.

Corruption of Sin

Jesus showed us what sin had done to us when he handed himself over for men to do their worst to him. Men destroyed him in a method meant to cause as much humiliation and suffering as possible. This terrible deed shows us how sin had corrupted men so that they could do all this to the good man. And sin will eventually corrupt each of us completely.
